Description
A large stomach (possibly from post-mortem dilatation) which has been filled with gelatin to
preserve outline. In centre there is a circumferential restriction producing the characteristic
hour-glass appearance. There appears to be some serosal thickening in region of constriction. (The
aetiology of this lesion is not apparent, but is likely to be due to chronic peptic ulceration).
